From Dublin Airport, there are 3 options:
1. 'AIRCOACH' Express Bus Service
What? 24/7 Express bus service between DUBLIN AIRPORT and DUBLIN CITY | Where? There are two bus stops in the Airport for the Aircoach service - one at Zone 2 in Terminal 1, the other just outside the arrivals area at Terminal 2 | Frequency? Buses depart every 15 mins during peak hours | Journey length? Approximately 30 minutes | Cost? €10 one way or €12 return (€5 one way and €6 return for children) | Best route? Fastest route is 700X but can also take Route 700 | Tickets? Tickets can be purchased online in advance here, at the Aircoach departure points at terminals, or from the driver | Where to disembark? Get off the bus at O'CONNELL BRIDGE, which is a 10-minute walk to the Isoldes Tower apartment or an 11-minute walk to the Dame Street apartment
2. 'DUBLIN EXPRESS' Express Bus Service [*Recommened*]
What? Express bus service between DUBLIN AIRPORT and DUBLIN CITY | Where? There are two bus stops in the Airport for the Dublin Express service - one at Terminal 1 and one at Terminal 2 | Frequency? If take Bus 782, alight at Wellington Quay (Temple Bar & Dublin Castle) Stop 312, which is a 3-minute walk from Isoldes Tower apartment and a 4-minute walk from the Dame Street apartment; If take Bus 783, alight at 'Aston Quay (O’Connell Bridge & Temple Bar) Stop 325', which is a 9-minute walk from Isoldes Tower apartment and a 10-minute walk from the Dame Street apartment; If take Bus 784, alight at 'Trinity College (College Green & Temple Bar) Stop 4495', which is a 9-minute walk from Isoldes Tower apartment and a 7-minute walk from the Dame Street apartment.
3. TAXI
Where? Taxis are available from the taxi ranks directly outside both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Dublin Airport. Just follow the signs from inside the terminals. Once you join the queue, a taxi dispatcher will assist. During busy times you may have to wait for a taxi to become available but the wait is rarely more than 5-10 minutes | How much? The usual fare from the Airport to the apartment is around €25-€30, but this depends on traffic congestion, number of passengers and time and day of pick-up. If the fare is any higher, ask for a printed receipt. Taxi fares are strictly regulated in Ireland - you can find full details here. You are not expected to tip | Payment? Fares can be paid with cash or credit card | Journey time? The journey will take between 25-40 minutes.
From Heuston Station, there are 3 options:
1. TRAM & WALK
How? Just outside Heuston Station, you'll see the HEUSTON LUAS (TRAM) STOP. Take the RED LINE Luas Tram [Direction: The Point] and get off at the JERVIS stop. It's the fourth stop after HEUSTON. , and the journey | Tickets? Purchase a ticket from the ticket vending machine at the station | Fare? A single, one-way ticket costs €2 (adult) and €0.90 (child) | Times? Trams depart every 5 minutes. The journey between Heuston and Jervis takes approximately 6 minutes |And then? From the JERVIS stop, it's a 9-minute walk to the Dame Street apartment or a 7-minute walk to the Isoldes Tower apartment.
2. TAXI
Where? There is a designated taxi rank located just outside Heuston Station - at the side entrance on St. John's Road | How much? The usual fare from Heuston Station to the apartment is around €10, but this depends on traffic congestion, number of passengers and time and day of pick-up. If the fare is much higher, ask for a printed receipt. Taxi fares are strictly regulated in Ireland - you can find full details here. You are not expected to tip | Payment? Fares can be paid with cash or credit card | Journey time? The journey will take around 10 minutes.
3. WALK
How far? Heuston Station is around 1.8 miles or 1.1 km from Temple Bar | How complicated? It's a simple, straight walk along the river | How long? It's approximately a 25-minute walk from Heuston Station to the Isoldes Tower apartment or a 27-minute walk to the Dame Street apartment.
From Connolly Station, there are 3 options:
1. TRAM & WALK
How? Just outside Connolly Station, you'll see the CONNOLLY LUAS (TRAM) STOP. Take the RED LINE Luas Tram [Direction: TALLAGHT or SAGGART] and get off at the JERVIS stop. It's the third stop after CONNOLLY | Tickets? Purchase a ticket from the ticket vending machine at the station | Fare? A single, one-way ticket costs €2 (adult) and €0.90 (child) | Times? Trams depart every 5 minutes. The journey between Connolly and Jervis takes approximately 5 minutes |And then? From the JERVIS stop, it's a 9-minute walk to the Dame Street apartment or a 7-minute walk to the Isoldes Tower apartment.

3. WALK
How far? Connolly Station is around 1.4 miles or 2.3 km from Temple Bar | How complicated? It's a fairly simple route, mostly along the river | How long? It's approximately a 32-minute walk from Heuston Station to the Isoldes Tower apartment or a 33-minute walk to the Dame Street apartment.
If driving, there are 2 options:
1. STOP MOMENTARILY AND UNLOAD
What? At both apartments, it's usually possible to pull in and stop momentarily to unload luggage. For the Dame Street apartment, stop at the side of the building on Exchange Street Upper; try to stop as close to the corner as possible. For the Isoldes Tower apartment, pull in on Exchange Street Lower; you'll see the entrance to the building and can stop as close as possible to there. NOTE: In both cases, it's essential that someone stays with the vehicle as parking is not permitted. However, so long as there is someone with the vehicle and it is not obstructing traffic flow or pedestrian movement, you will be allowed a few minutes grace.
2. PARK AND WALK TO THE APARTMENT
What? Both apartments are within short walks of several carparks / parking lots, so it's an option to park first and then walk to the apartment Best Options? Either 1.
